Classic image!! well captured - good timing and panning - aircraft is pin sharp with motion blurr behind ginving a real sense of speed and action. P Shorrock - Windsor UK

A visitor from Venezuela posted Sun May 4, 2008:
Some get to fly 747s and alike... but this is the REAL stuff!!

A visitor from Poland posted Tue March 11, 2008:
Hey,
Thanks for posting, I'm Luke holding the pole, it was great weekend.

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Sat December 1, 2007:
Great timing through the poles, but only 4 stars worth due to the clear lack of prop blurr Im afraid!! ;-) John Franks Glos.

A visitor from Greece posted Sun November 18, 2007:
Brave people on the runway you would need alot of courage... graet picture

A visitor from United States posted Wed July 25, 2007:
Now THAT is a professinal pilot. I've never seen that before inches towards the ground!

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Mon July 9, 2007:
I was there on this day and saw this, this is not a fake. The pilot was really that low. From what i remember there was a row of these ribbons forming a low 'tunnel'. This was just one of them. The people holding the ribbons were volunteers from the crowd!!

A visitor from Norway posted Fri April 27, 2007:
Woow!!!!!. Thats low. God photo, nice jobb.

A visitor from United States posted Sat February 10, 2007:
Wow man, I don't know what this picture shows more. Skill or trust.

Wow! Thats awesome! Thats one brave pilot and two really brave pole holders!! Great timing and super sharp too!!

A visitor from United States posted Tue July 18, 2006:
One of the many wonders of flight is the defiance of gravity, of which this is an excellent example!

A visitor from - posted Tue June 27, 2006:

A visitor from - posted Wed June 14, 2006:
COOL

A visitor from United States posted Tue June 13, 2006:
To catch the plane in that attitude just as it was passing through the uprights would take EXCELLENT timing, knowledge of the camera and a GREAT DEAL of luck.

A visitor from United States posted Tue June 13, 2006:
Color, sharpness, stop action, position of plane, color balance, focus of subject, frame fit.

A visitor from United States posted Tue June 13, 2006:
Since I am a pilot I appreciate the difficulty-and danger- of flyimg low and upside down. Frankly, I think he's out of his gourd.

A visitor from United States posted Tue June 13, 2006:
Excellent capture of the bravery and hazard to both the pilot and the pole holders. Putting the plane in focus instead of the guys on the ground echoes the concentration of the pilot, who is in absolute control of the stunt. Great timing and instinct from the photographer and amazing skill from the pilot.

A visitor from Ireland posted Tue June 13, 2006:

A visitor from United States posted Sat June 10, 2006:
The ability of the pilot if this is a real time picture, and not some computer manipulated nonsense.

A visitor from United States posted Fri June 9, 2006:
Crazy cool

A visitor from United States posted Fri June 9, 2006:
GOOD THING THOSE TWO POLE HOLDERS HAD THERE SAFETY VESTS ON FROM ANGLE IT LOOKS A LITTLE CLOSE.

A visitor from United States posted Fri June 9, 2006:
Amazing sharpness and clarity, considering the subject was travelling so quickly. Composition is very stimulating and intriguing.

A visitor from United States posted Fri June 9, 2006:
Wow! That sure takes a big set of cohones, both the pilot and the guys on the ground!

A visitor from United States posted Fri June 9, 2006:
The pilot is amazing! That takes talent.

A visitor from United States posted Fri June 9, 2006:
Moving plane totally in focus really stands out with the slightly blurred background...this shot was technically difficult to get.

A visitor from United States posted Fri June 9, 2006:
Very impressive photo, although I do prefer watching Mr. Sean D. Tucker perform the same maneuver. Knifeedge left, knifeedge right, inverted - the triple ribbon cut.

A visitor from Hong Kong posted Fri June 9, 2006:
Didn't know honda made planes

A visitor from United States posted Fri June 9, 2006:

A visitor from Finland posted Fri June 9, 2006:

A visitor from - posted Fri June 9, 2006:
Great freeze action, nice depth of field, good details on the airplane.

A visitor from - posted Fri June 9, 2006:
Take a good close look at the elevator. If you draw a chord line on the wing and the horizontal stab you will find that the tendncy for this aircraft would be to go nose down (up as you are looking at it). But there appears to be some back sick pressure being applied ther and it seems he's pulling the nose even more towards the ground. There's a difference between aviating and flying. Thats flyin'!

A visitor from United States posted Fri June 9, 2006:
This photo is so excellent

Only pilots from former Soviet republics can do so mad things. :))) It's really amazing. Great photo!

A visitor from United States posted Sun May 7, 2006:
The detail of the photo is great and just the fact that it's inverted so close to the runway

A visitor from United States posted Fri April 21, 2006:
Is there any more impressive skill show off then this??? Does it get any crazier, WOW

A visitor from Puerto Rico posted Tue March 14, 2006:
I think the pilot is somewhat insane but the guy's standing in the runway are even more insane!!!! look at how close they are to the plane.

A visitor from Israel posted Sun March 12, 2006:

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Fri March 3, 2006:
