A visitor from - posted Sun May 27, 2012: This photo is a good example of how a long-focus lens can compress the perspective. The runway number and the piano keys, for example, appear just a few feet long whereas their real size is way larger. So no, the 86 is not using the last ten feet of runway, and the photographer is likely sitting safely enough with a 300-mm lens in hand :)

A visitor from United States posted Tue May 24, 2011: And here we have, ladies and gentlemen, what's known as "using the ENTIRE runway"....( or at least all but about the last 10 ft of it ) And where you ask ,is our "fearless photographer" standing to get this shot ? My guess would be, in a 6 ft deep hole in the ground, with just his head sticking out, and ready to "duck"?
