A visitor from Australia posted Sun September 23, 2007:Was wondering what was going on at Kai Tak. Fond memories flying into this difficult runway. Recalled the checker board and the hard right with the engines spooling up to maintain just enough lift in the bank before lining up for touchdown descent. I assume there is new development across the runway and in and around the flight path. Still cannot believe it to this day it was a very tight flight corridor. The vivid colours captured are the essence of Hong Kong way of life. At first glance on the web, I thought it was a new add on to the FSX. I can definitely say this is very lovely shot, capturing crisp lines of the skyscrapers with dazzling lights of was one of the worlds challenging runways to land. | |
