As a very general answer I am able to provide... it depends on many factors.

I suppose you ask about the minimum requirements (strong headwind, low altitude, low density altitude, minimum weight, full-flap landing, landing at CVF...  ), but that information is harder to find. On a.net, there have been already these topics:

380: Question About The A380 Takeoff Performance (by PVD757 Dec 31 2003 in Tech Ops)

747: Minimum Runway Length For 747 (by Boston92 Aug 9 2006 in Tech Ops)

777: 777 Take Off Performance... (by Gilesdavies Jun 6 2005 in Tech Ops)

David

Even a letdown, if it is thoroughly and final, is a step forward.

You will find the takeoff/landing runway length requirements charts on the Boeing and Airbus websites.

On the following pages, click the desired aircraft type and then on the "Aircraft Performance" link, and scroll down the applicable model. Boeing hasn't yet published that type of information for the 787.

For example, you will find the relevant charts for the 747-8 here.
