Glare (developed by Stork Aerospace in the Netherlands) is a particular fibre-aluminum laminate material which is relatively light and has excellent fatigue and impact-resistance qualities. Its name is not an acronym, but rather a shortening of "glass reinforced."
The A380 is using Glare quite extensively, and it has saved around 500kg of weight...

A lot of the fuselage skin panels on the A380 are GLARE.
