Question About Canadian Airports

For Canadians: I was wondering if anyone knows how many passengers passed through their local airport (or any other airport in Canada for that matter) in 2000, 1999, 1998, etc.? Statistics Canada is about 3 years behind in providing this info.

Here's the passenger stats for my hometown Ottawa (YOW) for the past 3 years:
2000 - 3,434,345
1999 - 3,211,607
1998 - 3,110,548

I find passenger traffic trends to be rather interesting. Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks...Andrew

Unfortunatley the most recent data I can find is 1992!

Anyways, my city, YZF:
56,000 Aircraft movments
192,000 revenue passengers.

This does not include the float base or the ice strip.

Once Im able to find more recent information, I will be sure to tell you, as Im almost positive the numbes are much higher almost 10 years later.

Kamloops (YKA):

2000:147,000 passengers
47,000 aircraft movements
The figures are expected to reach at least .5 millon once Westjet begins service sometime next year.

My Hometown Airport: YVR :
GATEWAY TO THE PACIFIC

YVR has increased from 9 million something passengers in 1992 to 16 million passengers in 2000.

While the cargo has increased from 140 tonnes in 1992 to 250 tonnes in 2000.....
Thanks to the job that the airport authority did after taking over from Transport Canada in 1992.........

Okay, I'm going to claim a couple different airports as my own because I sorta live in two places:

YUL (1999) : 8,296,887

YMX (hey, why not?,1999) :1,292,624, projected to likely reach, well, ZERO possibly by next year.

YYZ (1999) : 27,797,851

YTZ (1999) : 120,000 movements, but not sure about pax loads, prolly pretty low.

Fly_yhm, before Westjet, who else was flying to YHM? Was it just Bearskin Airlines?

Next flight.... who knows.

Thanks for the info everyone. fly_yhm, I check yhm.com and they gave 243,205 as their 2000 pax total. They said that they are projecting 400,000 for 2001. I have found a few more:

YHZ 2000 - 2,980,970, 1999 - 3,084,622 (one of the few Canadian airports to see a decrease in 2000)

YYT 2000 - 852,044

YEG 2000 - 3,843,321, 1999 - 3,244,421

Anyone else know their local airport pax totals, or any other Canadian airport for that matter?

The most southerly point that Bearskin flies to is YOW.

Also, I noticed recently at YUL an Air Creebec flight to YGK (Kingston). Was this just a charter, or does Air Creebec fly to YGK regularly, and if they do, to where exactly? YUL?

Anyone else?
