BA: Do I Have A Window Seat Or Not?

I have a flight tomorrow (12/14) on British Airways from Heathrow to Athens. This segment is on a 767-300. My seat is 14A.

I know there are some seats in the front of the 767's that do not have a window around this row and I am worried 14A might be that unfortunate seat/row...

Can anyone offer any help?

I'm guessing that's a two-class 767-300, because according to SeatExpert.com the three class doesn't have a row 14. According to SeatExpert.com, on the two-class layout, 14A is definitely a window seat. I *think* SeatMaestro.com concurs, but it's hard to tell because their site is so over-designed that it's practically impossible to use.

Any A seat on most aircraft is a window seat. However, around that part of the plane, there are about three rows that don't have a full window access. Check www.seatguru.com...they may have that info.

Also, unless you are flying J class in Europe, I didn't think that BA did advance seating for Y class (your post did not specify) in Europe.

Unfortunately, seatguru.com only have BA 747s and 777s.

I think he realizes that, hence why he was asking the question in the first place.

He's flying tomorrow. Who says he's not OLCId already?

Anyway, you can now pre-assign in Euro Traveller if you have the right shiny card and/or a full Y ticket.

The longhaul 767 seatmaps people are talking about above are pointless, ATH is a shorthaul route.

Looking at the seating config for the BA632 for tomorrow for example, 14A does not have a window.

Intially I was given seat 8A... I am not sure with version of their 767 I will be flying on. I am just a Euro Traveller originating from the US first.

Thank you all for your response... tonight when I check my luggage on my JFK-Heathrow leg I will ask the agents to change my seat.

Yes, it is the flight I am travelling on... or at least was suppose to  Sad My flight out of here from JFK is delayed tll 11:34pm, and won't arrive till 11:44am or so in the UK... it gives me about 30 min to connect  Sad

There is another flight to ATH at 20:00 (8pm local time in London), I hope i make that flight?

Since you work at BA... what is there policy for holding a flight? Is there anyway someone can meet me outside my gate in London so they can hurry me or drive me to my connection flight?

If you arrive and are late for your connection BA staff wil do the best they can to hurry you through to the next flight. If you are booked on one itinerary then they should put you on the next flight to ATH
