So I'm wondering if anyone knows this is usual, or what was going on, but around 6AM at MSP, a friend and I were at the MSP Observation Deck and noticed a lot of UA jets on the ground, around 6 of them, all of them either United or United Shuttle.
There were I think 2 or 3 parked at gates, and the rest parked diagonally behind them on the ramp.
It seems like an awful lot to have at MSP at one time, but I really don't know if it's unusual at all or not. Is it?

I think UA ONs 5-6 aircraft each night at MSP. It's similar for AA and DL as well, both of whom park at least 4 aircraft overnight for morning flights to their hubs.

UA has 5 RON's every night at MSP - 3 at jetways and 2 parked between the jetways.
