Guess it was one of Paul Allen's 752s?

The Seattle Mariners' plane was evacuated as it was preparing to take off from Toronto on Sunday night because of a fire on the conveyer belt used to load baggage.

Allen doesn't own the Mariners. "Just" the Seahawks and the Portland Trail Blazers.

So they load baggage on the runway now then?  Wink

Glad nothing more serious happened.

I never said he owned the Mariners  Smile

However, they do fly on one of his 757-200s, unless they are unavailable.

Ahh, but for such a wet team, they are playing pretty damn well Smile

And now they are rumored to be in the running to get Soriano???

Not to turn this into a baseball thread, but they are in the top three teams in the running.

They are in the basement in the AL West (4 games behind first) and don't even have a winning record as of this morning  Sad
