Hey folks I just came back from a 3 week vacation to the Philippines and Japan.

While at MNL I spotted PR's 5th B747-400. I already uploaded it to this site and hopefully it will be accepted.

BTW this aircraft was ordered originally by PR but not taken and delivered to Canadian, which in turn became an Air Canada aircraft after the takeover. Now its back to its original owner. It was delivered to PR on 12/21/03.
Its registered RP-C8198 I believe not sure will check photo later when I get home.

Any Ways according to Justplanes.com Philippine airlines "is converting one of its Boeing 747s into a combi aircraft (passenger/cargo).
Capacity on the aircraft is being reduced from 463 seats to 200-250 seats however the
jumbo will be able to carry an additional 40 to 50 tons of cargo."

Does anybody know if this aircraft that's being converted is a true pax aircraft or is it the Ex Kuwaiti machine N754PR, which already has the SCD, and maybe the interior is being redone?

Sorry I might've screwed up on gathering the info on the history of the 5th 744. Now after looking at the Philippine Flight Simmer Group (PFSG) forum I'm not sure if that 5th 744 is the same one that was the ex-CP bird thats been sitting in MZJ and is now painted in the AR c/s (according to a report). So I'm pretty confused here on where this 5th one came from. All I know is that it made a flight on the MNL-DVO route.

As for the 744 converting into a combi, theres a article here (thanks to Jack of the PFSG forums) on it but I don't know as well which one they'll select for conversion.

BTW KL808 if possible, can you email me the picture of the 5th 744?
