Thought I’d post again from the air seeing as it’s still a novel idea for me :P

Anyway this time im flying from Sydney to Singapore and on to London.

I am on SQ 222 (seat 17A) - about 2 hours into flight - if anyone else is online on this flight – say hi! Or else is anyone else online from other wireless connected SQ LH flights?

Chat soon  Smile

Is the internet feature on all SQ 747s?

No - apparently only services to New York (I think the direct ones), and some (but I thought it was all) LHR to SIN services.

However I think it is being progressively introduced as my SIN-SYD flight didn't have it on 10 days ago but yesterday my SYD-SIN flight did.

Can anyone from SQ (or who knows) confirm?!

thanks!

Think it depends on which plane is fitted with Connexion by Boeing. So if the plane has it installed and is deployed to SYD, you get to use the internet. If a non-Connexion aircraft is deployed, no internet.

OK a bit geeky here.

It would be interesting what IP address you have and what its trace route is.

visit www.whatismyip.com and run tracert from the DOS prompt and it will be interesting what country you are in as you progress through your flight to LHR.

Enjoy the flight.

Sorry Slimprogrammer but I am off the flight now!

If anyone else is online on a flight perhaps they can do that - it would be very interesting to see where it is routed via!?
