Does anyone know how far Swiss have got rolling out their new business class and on which aircraft? (I assume the 340 has it and the 330's are getting it or have it)

as far as I know all A340's are equipped with the new interior - A330 getting it at this point in time. They probably will not refurbish the MD11

Of course all 340 have it no MD11 will get it. The revamp of the 330 has not yet startet and I don't know when it will happen.

What is the 330 bizz chair cabin and service like?

I recently went on Swiss first class on the A340 and first class was excellent. I got to peek at the business class seats and they looked very comfortable. It reclines into a flat bed.

I hope to fly ID on LX A343 business class BKK-ZRH and MD11 ZRH-GRU. Hope the flight will be ok in the next couples of months!!  

"Swiss Bizz" sounds like a nice name, they should adopt it.

Refurnishment of the A330's are due in 2005 during next D-Checks. They will get the same interior as the A340.
Certainly, all MD-11 wont get the new interior as the last MD-11 will be phased out this summer.

I've been upgraded on a Swiss flight to NYC (A330) to bizz class (old version) and it was quite classical: big seats with a lot of place but not fully reclinable.
The food was very good (u have the choice of different dishes) and the F/A very professional.
And of course every seats has it own PTV.

The cabin layout was 2-2-2

The new Intercontinental C-cl seats are nice. They go flat, but unfortunately there's a 13 degree angle, which makes you slide down if you're not careful. Otherwise the new A340 interiors are very stylish, and finally we're done with the boring dark blue colors that so many carriers seem to decorate their a/c with.
The rest of the fleet unfortunately has not been re-refurbished. I'm not sure if we have the money to do that right now.
