Hey Guys

I was up all night (12AM-5AM) playing around with kayak and found these great fares on the website through Aer Lingus' website

Date: December 21 to January 2, 2013

JFK-LIN (Milan) - $245.00 Roundtrip
JFK-WAW - $296.00 Roundtrip
JFK-AMS - $303.00+ Roundtrip
JFK-CDG - $339.00+ Roundtrip

Several cities also had similar airfare (BCN, MAD, FCO, BRU, etc)

At around 5AM (Eastern US Time) I came up to an error page saying that the website was under maintenance, however, it went back to normal in about 5-10 minutes, but all of the fares were now $700+

I actually tried to book it, JFK-LIN RT for three people, so it came up to almost $800.00 and it showed the total, the flight details and even the seat preview, but I didn't push through it because I didn't want to wake up my mom. My question is, was this an error? Or is EI known for having these kind of huge sales? I mean, that is a HUGE difference from the regular fares that they usually ask. Any chance that this will happen again?
