I would like to know what would be a better seat for this long-haul flight, seat 43A or 31K. Seat 43A has a window and it only has one seat next to it instead of two, and I have read on the SQTalk forums that the seat has good recline. Seat 31K has no window but it has more legroom.

I'm just about to board the plane for my fortnightly trip to HKG on SQ2. My personal pref is to sit on row 32 if possible. Close enough to the front of Y but still able to put my briefcase under my seat. I always choose an aisle, but I still like to look out the window from the aisle seat, which you don't get out of row 31.
HTH.
Cheers Coal

43 A/C is good
Exits are OK but I tend to "slide down" on these seats when sleeping
53 A/K have 1-2 inches more due to the curve of the plane, but I like to seat in front for faster exit, and more stable too.
Finally D/G seats are good too, as you can get a glimpse at the window, and for night flight, no one will "excuse-me" to get out. And if the plane is not full, they always tend to leave the E row empty.
Hope it helps
