Try emailing some of those airlines regarding the flights further in the past. This has helped me several times.

Thanks for your advise. I contacted several airlines and most either didn't reply or are not storing information for more than 10 years. I also tried to find help in the foto database but no luck on the dates needed.

Hi Gabe !
For the SK flight from ARN, there should be a record at the Swedish Civil Aviation Aurthority (Luftfartsverket). Try to look for theiir address and they may be able to help. I have not tried that myself so curious to see if works.
Good Luck !

Hi swissgabe
Quoting swissgabe (Thread starter): Hi guys, I'm looking for following registrations of airplanes I have flown on. Most of them are rather old and long time ago.
I can help you with some of them. Here we go:
14 March 1987 - ZRHLHR Swissair SR800 on Airbus 310 = HB-IPD
15 March 1987 - LHRZRH Swissair LX805 on a Airbus 310 = HB-IPA
10 October 1987 - ZRHKGS Balair on a MD82 = HB-INR
There were two flights ZRH-KGS on this date, BB128 at dep 13:55 lt and BB234 at dep 22:45 lt. Both were operated by HB-INR.
17 October 1987 - KGSZRH Balair on a MD82 = HB-INR
On 17Oct87 there was one flight, BB129 at arr 20:40 lt. It was also HB-INR. The night flight BB235 with arr on 18Oct was HB-INR, too.
04 August 1989 - LUGZRH Crossair LX911 on a SF3 = HB-AHE
06 October 1990 - ZRHHEL Finnair AY862 on a M80 = OH-LYT, which was actually a DC-9-51
This would make you happy, I guess. Or unhappy because you were sure it was an MD-80 but the date or flight number are wrong.
11 October 1990 - ARNZRH SAS SK607 on a M80 = SE-DFY
09 October 1993 - ZRHBOS Swissair SR126 on a 743 = HB-IGE
23 October 1993 - PHLBOSZRH Swissair SR127 on a 743 = HB-IGE (arrival 24Oct93 in ZRH)
29 July 1994 - ZRHIAD United Airlines UA965 on a 763 = N642UA
19 August 1995 - IADZRH United UA964 on a 763 = N653UA (arrival on 20Aug95 in ZRH)
Just to double check, you're talking about 1995 not 1994 here?
02 August 1996 - ZRHGVACAS Royal AIr Maroc AT931 on a 735 = CN-RNA, which was actually a 734
Again, if you're sure it was a 735, please double check date and flight number.
08 February 1998 - ZRHJFK Swissair SR100 on a 743 = HB-IGD
16 March 2002 - ZRHTXL Crossair/Swiss LX3549 on a AR1 HB-IXW or HB-IXY?
The flight number LX3549 was actually a flight MUC-ZRH. Also, the odd number would point to an inbound to ZRH instead of an outbound from ZRH. There were the following ZRH-TXL flights on this date: LX3590, 3592, 3594, 3544, 3598 and the following TXL-ZRH flights: LX3599, 3591, 3593, 3595, 3545. Let me know which one I should look up for you. Alternatively, you could also indicate the time of day so that we could identify the correct flight. None of the above mentioned flights were operated by HB-IXW or HB-IXY, though.
06 July 2002 - ZRHGVA Swiss LX2802 = HB-IOB
07 July 2002 - GVAZRH Swiss LX2811 = HB-IJR
I hope this helps. I took great care not to make any mistakes here, because I myself once had to fill some gaps in my log and I know how important it was to me.

That's pretty amazing! Do your sources only cover Swiss data? I have a couple of gaps that include flights from and to Germany (not from CH) in the 80s and 90s, mostly LH. Would that be covered too?

Hi LXM83
Thank you so much for all those registrations! You made me EXTREMLY happy, especially about those from Swissair in the good old days since I actually thought I would never ever find them out.
I will check re the dates of the UA flight and that ZRHTXL flight. Again thank you so much for your efforts!
Cheers,
gabe

If you point us the right direction where to find this info. that would be very helpful . I understand it will not be possible to help anyone else to get the same info as above.
I have a few flights that I'm looking for but mostly to/from Sweden/USA.
Thanks

Unfortunately, the data is not publicly available and anyways would only cover certain years and only selected flights to/from Switzerland.
I don't want to overstress my source, please PM me if you have any requests and I will collect them and combine them into one request.

Hi LXM83, I just sent you PM with three flights on SR in 1998, hope your source can find those!
Cant say how important these are, especially because these will be two additional MD-11 regs. I have also been on numerous Balair and Crossair MD-80 flights out of ZRH in the 90ies, but unfortunately I don't have the exact dates any more so I will do some more research.
Thanks in advance, your help is greatly appreciated.
