I am looking into options for a (fun-)daytrip during my upcoming vacation and came across an interesting itinerary, but am concerned of one transfer:

Arriving PIT from CLE on CO at 1835h on a Dash8-200.
Departing PIT to ATL on FL at 1943h

Question is: Is such a connection doable ? No luggage would be checked ...

Absolutely doable. PIT is such a convenient airport. You'll be parked on arrival near the start of the D concourse and will have a walk of MAYBE 3 minutes to the gate for your FL flight.

The concourses at PIT are a big X - four concourses all starting from the center...the cross of the X.

Enjoy the trip!

Those who want to do something will find a way; those who don't will find an excuse.

You might even be able to do a late dinner. In that 3 minute walk you will pass by no less than 11 fast food places.

Even better !

All that I then would need to arrange is to get a printed BP; not sure if the (lowcost) establishment I intend to stay in would be of help. Looks like I will try to settle things at ATL in the morning prior to my first sector (to BWI on DL).

As a hotel manager myself, I would not be pleased if my staff didn't offer to print it for you.

Unless you move slower than molasses, you should not only have enough time to make your connection, but grab a bite to eat and browse a few stores in the AirMall.
