hi all  Wink please help me,
I got this one rejected, reason: dirty
http://www.abload.de/img/egyptaircargoa300dusiu9.jpg

i JUST removed the dustspots:
http://www.abload.de/img/egyptaircargoa300duskqa.jpg

and got it rejected for: personal soft
the personal comment was: nose end soft

so should i appeal because they didn't tell me the soft reject reason during the first rejection? Doesn't that mean that not all screeners agree to a softrejection?

regards
John

Not without sharpening the nose, if you can.

Rejections do not normally list all defects, just the most obvious one(s).

Which is one of the great problems IMO. All rejection reasons should be listed. It would avoid a few headaches  Wink

In a perfect world, yes. But it is not - and they are not.

That sounds logical, but there's a downside to it. A large proportion of rejected shots are probably never re-uploaded. So, a lot of the extra work for the screeners would be futile. And when a shot is re-uploaded, the screeners will always need to check it all over again, anyway, because it may have other defects than the rejected version.

To jump in.

My third rejection on this one
http://www.airliners.net/addphotos/r...0906_OK-TVC_738_QS_250808__332.jpg

and the second time for contrast. Any direction for me how much to add.

Thanks!

Sorry - but motive there - the wheels are partially obscured by the ground. Based on previous rejections seen here, I doubt this would escape motive.

But in that case I would think that a motive rejection at first is a nice hint

1. oversharpened
2. contrast
3. contrast

would be waste of time if it gets another rejection for motive.
