Quoting 9V (Reply 1): Looks a bit dark in the foreground but I love that sky.
That was the plan. Was going for a sillouhette (sp) but I think I may have failed.

Doesn't look too bad actually. I think it needs some CCW rotation though. Upload it. What's the worst that can happen...your acceptance ratio goes down to 10%.

Going back to the picture...
Hi Danny,
I think it is a great photo for sure, but it's not a silhouette one, and for a normal one it is probably too dark. Just had a quick edit (not meant for uploading). Since you do not have any other reference, I levelled according to the wings (0.4 CCW), highlighted mid-tones 0.2 and used some shadow highlight ( ), and surprise, you see again the original picture!
Just sit back, relax and have a glass of Merlot...enjoy your life!

Hey Danny,
Personally, I think its a great shot. May I suggest reducing the amount of shadow especially near the engines.(use the shadow/highlight tool) & perhaps brightening it up a bit. Besides that its a cool shot. Good luck getting it in!
P.s. - Ancontado's re-edit is a great example of what Im trying 2 say
