Ok, I have always has an interest in airplanes/airlines and airports, and have also always been interested in models (primarily garbage trucks snow plows and fire engines- first gear and code 3)Anways, recently, and naturally, the two interests combined.
ANWAYS
I am looking into buying an airport/ terminal building (s)
Which company makes the best one- Herpa, Gemini Jets, Dragon Wings, or another company ( I have seen some 'toy' types in magazines, but than again I doubt they are as good of quality or true to scale).
What I am looking for is two things. First-Which has the best quality. and Second-which is the best for its price.
All input is greatly apreciated, as well as pictures or links.
Thanks!

Well first, do you already have a model aircraft collection? Is so then what scale? If you have 1:400, then you would want to consider purchasing the Gemini Jets airport set (which is around 200 dollars!). If you have 1:500 scale, then go ahead and buy the herpa airport set. But if you dont have a model aircraft collection started yet, then consider what airplanes you are interested in collecting, then make your airport decision based on that and also what scale you would like to collect.
Another thing: The best model airports are the ones you create yourself!!! You dont have to restrict yourself to the pre fabricated designs of Herpa, Dragon Wings or Gemini Jets. You have the absolute freedom to do whatever you please. If you look in the forums of either wings900.com or diecastaircraftforum.com you will see some pretty amazing model terminals (most are in 1:400 scale allowing for more detail, but 1:500's are nice as well in their own respect)
